2008 Itinerary Details - November 1 - November 14 *FYI We will send you the final itinerary to update the details
Day 1 - Depart from LAX, USA and arrive to Bangkok International Airport on Day 2 late evening. Upon arrival in Bangkok, group participants will be welcomed with smiles and transferred to a stunning 4 star hotel downtown.
Day 3 - This morning you will wake in the ancient land of Siam and enjoy an incredible breakfast. we'll have the opportunity to explore the rich treasures within the river front temples and palaces and wander through the active markets and streets. Morning attraction is the dazzling Grand Palace and Wat Phra Keo. The Palace is where the Emerald Buddha is located, and was the residence of Thailand's royal family until the 1950's. This evening you will receive the Royal Treatment with a Traditional 2 hour Thai massage! You will be amazed at how good and relaxed you feel afterwards! By the way.... this will also be a great time to get fitted for a custom suit, shirts and silk dress from our Bangkok's best custom tailor!
Day 4 - Bankok-Lopburi-Phitsanulok (Central-Northwest) This morning we will travel by van to the northwest city, Lopburi, and visit the Royal Family Palace, Narai Ratchaniwet Palace. After lunch at a famous Thai Bua Laung Restaurant, we will continue our journey to Phisanuloke and visit the one of the Asian wellknown Textile Museum. Rich fabrics and garments such as 100% silk, natural batik and hemp weaving are demonstrated. Then we will visit the Wat Prasri Tattanamahathat which is the main symbol of the province. Thais will come and pay respect to the Buddha statue with a believe that the Buddha will grant their wishes. In the evening, we will sightseeing the town like the locals on tricycles called "Tuk Tuk".
Day 5 - Ready for another amazing Day! After breakfast, we will depart to Sri Satchanalai at Sukhothai province. Ancient Sukhothai is the crown jewel of Thai historic sites during the 13th and 14th centuries. Here, over 45 square kilometers of this city have been preserved in a historical park and are a designated World Heritage site.
Day 6 - Today will be another big exciting day! We will continue the adventure to Chiangmai and visit the most ancient culture of the Thai history.
Day 7 - Today we begin our elephant ride into the northern Thailand hill tribe villages and hot springs. This is where you will really get a chance to see village life at its most authentic.
Day 8 - This morning we will transfer to the Traditional Cooking School for a 4 hr class from 8:30 to 12:30pm. After cooking, we will visit the traditional Thai silk village and wood working artisans. This is a great place for you to pick up some very nice silk and wooden gifts!
Day 9 - We will travel by van to visit the handicraft wood carving villages and get your one-of-a kind gifts for your family.
Day 10 - This morning we will fly to the Hue Hin, the peaceful beach. Everyone I have taken here absolutely loves these exotic treasure and I know you will love them too!
Day 11-13 -Relax under the sun and the clear- peaceful beach or enjoin fun activities like snorkling, sea canoe, bicycling, hiking, horse riding and etc.!
Day 14 - This morning, having wonderful memories of our journey, we 'll say farewell to the land of smiles and have a safe trip back to America.
